As part of the three-day high level community meeting, jointly hosted by the Presidential Climate Commission (PCC), Climate Compatible Growth (CCG), and African Energy Futures (AEF), this session presented the outputs of a research project investigating cross-sector interactions in the just energy transition in South Africa, identifying the benefits and trade-offs offered by different policy pathways.

Ashleigh Dingwall

Ashleigh Dingwall is a Masters student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town, where she is part of the Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG). Her research explores the potential of the Climate-Land-Energy-Water (CLEWs) modelling framework, implemented in OSeMOSYS, to support national climate mitigation planning in South Africa.
