As part of the three-day high level community meeting, jointly hosted by the Presidential Climate Commission (PCC), Climate Compatible Growth (CCG), and African Energy Futures (AEF), Abhishek Shivakumar made a presentation on TransitionZero’s no-code energy planning software. The tools that TransitionZero is building could reduce the amount of time spent on model development from months to days.

Abhishek Shivakumar
Abhishek Shivakumar is the Head of Modelling at TransitionZero. He is an energy systems modeller and analyst with over a decade of experience building, maintaining, and applying open-source modelling tools. Prior to joining TransitionZero, Abhishek was a senior energy systems modeller within the UK’s Climate Compatible Growth Programme. He also worked as a consultant with the United Nations, at UNDP and UNDESA. Abhishek has a PhD in Energy Systems Analysis from KTH Sweden and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
