AEF Director Attends London Climate Action Week (LCAW) Events

AEF Director, Steve Nicholls attended London Climate Action Week (LCAW) in June, where he met with policymakers, donors and researchers. He spoke at several events hosted by AEF’s partners, including: a panel on the data-to-deal framework, hosted by Climate Compatible Growth (CCG), in partnership with Imperial College and SEforALL, a discussion on the Energy Access Explorer, hosted by the WRI Polsky Center for the Global Energy Transition, and an expert roundtable on flexibility hosted by the Carbon Trust. In all his appearances, Steve emphasized the importance of institutional capacity-building in enabling a just energy transition in Africa.
